About me: I'm gay, obviously, and reasonably open about it. Except at work. They don't know because they haven't asked, and I haven't volounteered the information. Too many predjudiced idiots
My Best Friends:
Mike - Friend of long standing, whom I also rent my flat from. He lives above my studio apartment with his family. His wife, Madz, I went to school with. I also get along great with his kids, Alex and Antonia (aged 10 & 12 respectively)
Stevie and Stu - A great couple, the people I first came out to. They have a big flat in town, and throw great parties. I recently had a thing with Stevies cousin, Aidan, who's from California and has been travelling round Europe for a while. He went back today, so I'm a little sad. :(
Danny - Writer, Vertebrate paleontologist, Genius, Stoner, Smart-Ass and perpetual student. A great guy. Used to work for me on occasion
Jo - My newest friend, and the only person at work who knows I'm queer. Bubbly with an infectious personality, she's my confidante and "rock".
Alex - My oldest friend, but we haven't spoken in ages. He has a new family, so I guess he's busy with that.
My family:
Ali, my sister, lives in Wales with her partner Andy, and my niece, Autumn.
My parents live in Spain, and don't know I'm gay. I haven't told them directly, but all the clues are there. Personally I think they're in denial about it.
I think I'll post some photos soon, just in case anyone reads this. Visual aids always help.
I love music and at the moment I'm really into Within Temptation and The Birthday Massacre.
I'm also a big fan of the Harry Potter books, and I read online fan-fiction, usually Harry Potter stuff (including Yaoi/Slash). Theres absolutely loads of stuff out there, so I read a lot!. I've also written some, but as yet not published online. I think I will at some point.
I work out at least 3 times a week, which can be knackering, but fitness is important, right?
